We are looking for a skilled M&A Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the M&A process by analyzing financial data, conducting market research, and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential acquisitions, including valuation modeling, financial forecasting, and risk assessment.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment throughout the M&A process.

  • Analyze industry trends and market conditions to identify potential targets and strategic opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of acquisitions on overall business performance.

  • Assist in post-merger integration efforts, ensuring that strategic objectives are met and synergies are realized.

  • Support the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for the executive team and board of directors.

  • Monitor the performance of completed acquisitions and provide ongoing analysis and insights.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or business analysis.

  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.

  • Proficient in financial analysis software, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific trends and best practices related to mergers and acquisitions.


EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CMA) is a plus.
