Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Executive for the Manufactured Housing Lending - Central Department.


The Business Development Executive (BDE) develops and maintains successful business relationships while consistently assessing potential opportunities within their geographic market area. This will involve communication through phone and travel on a weekly basis as well as required documentation in Salesforce CRM system. The BDE educates sources on the Credit Human product offerings and process flows that leads to source satisfaction and increased utilization. The BDE will monitor and identify trends within their market thru business partner communications, industry and association events and other specified channels.


The BDE, based on experience will suggest process improvements that will increase efficiency, improve service and improve the success and/or the effectiveness of the business partner.

  • Identify business prospects and ascertain the best channel for the business prospects (direct or indirect)

  • Assess business partner opportunity (amount of potential production)

  • Communicate feature benefits of programs, identifying potential problems and providing solutions

  • Assist potential business partner with onboarding and submission of vendor file

  • Gather market intelligence from business partners, industry associations and events

  • Participate in industry related events to promote the credit union


Experience:


    Required



  • 5 years of sales related experience


    Preferred



  • Previous experience in manufactured housing business

  • Marketing and financial analysis experience


Education:


    Required



  • High school diploma


    Preferred



  • 4-year college degree is preferred


Licenses & Certifications:


    Required



  • Requires eligibility to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry


    Preferred



  • NMLS registered


Skills & Knowledge:


    Required



  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Must have strong organizational skills

  • General knowledge of various office departments and their primary responsibilities

  • Must be able to work with all departments in a strongly cooperative and team building relationship

  • Good Computer skills (including basic keyboarding)

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce


 


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm


Salary Range:  $75,987 to $81,127 Annually


Flexibility:  In office, on site; not remote or hybrid


Level of Work: 2C
