Our client, a well-established Property Management company based in Portland, is seeking a Property Accountant on a temporary to hire basis to help with additional workload. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a renowned organization and contribute to their continued success.

What you will be doing:
Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations for the monthly general ledger close process.
Compile and prepare accurate financial statements.
Assist in regulatory reporting requirements.
Prepare and/or review ledger entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger balances.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
Prepare cash flow projections and monitor daily cash balances.
Assist in maintaining the Yardi Information System, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
Provide occasional supervision and guidance to accounting staff.
Support budget preparation and ongoing financial monitoring.
Assist in the preparation for the annual audit.
