BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Outreach Coordinator for an opportunity in Remote!

Expected Duration:
3+ Months of contract with Contract to Hire




Job Type:

Pay Range:
$17 - $20.50/hr

Job Description:




Position Title: Quality Outreach Coordinator




Location: Remote - CST




Duration: 3+ months of contract with Contract to Hire




Pay Rate: $20.50/hr. on W2




Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00




Need: HEDIS / QARR




Note:



In the event that OT is required, the hiring manager will inform the workers ahead of time. Towards the end of the year there may be an opportunity for the worker to participate in OT during possibly (late October - November, December) TBD



Job Description:




Position Purpose:



Performs duties to assist in activities related to closing open care gaps for high-risk members.



Required Skills/Experience:



HEDIS / QARR


Needs to demonstrate leadership capabilities. This person is going to need to be able to problem solve.


Strong organizational skills.


Exceptional phone behavior.


Healthcare background (doctor's office, hospital setting, 2+ years)


Medical Terminology.


Exceptional work ethic.


Microsoft Office, must have stable internet connection, must be connected to secure Wi-Fi (home) not Starbucks, hotels, etc.



Responsibilities:



Customer service


Calling members via phone


Calling the member and providing service


Outbound calling



Education/Experience:



High school diploma or equivalent.


2 years managed care setting, medical office or facility setting with demonstration of medical administration duties.


Knowledge of medical terminology.


Interacts with high-risk members and/or providers to improve healthcare outcomes and close care gaps such as increased preventive care compliance.


Provides support for quality initiatives including outreach to members who are noncompliant in the designated outreach services.


Conducts seasonal call campaigns, in coordination with local market efforts.


Enters data assessments and authorizations into the system and maintain database as directed.


Maintains integrity of Personal Health Information.


Performs other duties as assigned.


Complies with all policies and standards.
