Infosys is seeking a Dot Net Developer. This position's primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best-practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CTor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET, WEB API, Blazor, Azure, Any Unit testing Framework, No SQL. (Cosmos)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in .Net with 4 years of client facing skills
Drive technical as well as functional solution discussions with customer and provide thought leadership in the area.
Strong sense of code with ability to review, rework and deliver top class code to customer.
Should have .Net core Web Api hands on experience.
CI/CD skills to build automated infrastructure pipelines using Azure Biceps and Yaml.
Experience in C#, Unit test(any xUnit / NUnit/MsTest) , Blazor /Razor, Entity Framework core.
Microsoft Azure experience to leverage the Paas offering (Appservice , redis , cosmos DB , Azure function, app insights etc. ) and Eventing services ( EventHub , EventGrid)
At least 4 years of experience in Agile scrum software development process.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Strong Analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
