(Contingent upon available funding): 15.00 - 20.00, Hourly Work Schedule: M-F 8a-5p generally Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Provides administrative assistance to the Osher Lifelong Learner Institute (OLLI) @ OSU Office (85%) and Emeriti Office (15%). Provide secretarial and administrative support for the other OLLI Office. Assist with maintenance of OLLI database, enrollment processing, mailing list, nametags, class rosters and deposits. Communicate with enrollees and instructors via phone, print, and email. Coordination of OLLI Office and requests for information. Serve as contact to OLLI registrants, instructors, and general public for questions, booklists, and orientation to the OLLI Program. Prepare the monthly Update/Calendar for distribution to Emeriti Members. Prepare Emeriti Newsletter biannually and assist with mailing. Assist with preparation of the annual Emeriti Directory. Responsible for Monday Night Dinners, work with Reservations and Catering Committee or Emeriti Chair by sending out dinner announcements for the monthly meal meeting, via email and mail and requesting reservations. Maintain Emeriti membership database and work directly with Membership Chair. Minimum Qualifications:

High School/GED and two years of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Completion of the Ambassador Program within one year of hire.  
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Two to fours years of office clerical experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
