Job Description:
Perform duties to lead an Assembly Team in the production and installation of sub-assemblies required for HVAC units, working within the limits of standard methods and procedures and making decisions as to sequence of operations as required.
Responsibilities:
Read and follow Bills of Materials and follow hands-on instructions to construct various product assemblies.
Use of Power Tools (drills/grinders/saws/rivets and spray guns) and Hand Tools (sanders/saws/vises/hammer/cutters).
Responsible for checking and verifying parts before assembly and conducting quality checks and measurements.
Previous welding (TIG/MIG/carbon/stainless) a plus.
Safely perform all duties, and support all safety and environmental rules and initiatives.
Participate in company-wide initiatives to provide continuous improvement of processes and products.
Requirements:
2yr experience using power/hand tools.
Self-starter.
Teamwork and regular attendance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reading, writing, comprehension, and understanding of measurements.
Heavy lifting (up to 50lb), climbing, bending, and standing long periods.
Wearing PPE (gloves, steel-toe shoes, respirators, other dependent on tasks).
Visual and listening acuity, retention of instructions.
