Description:


The Natural Sciences Department of Flagler College is seeking a part time instructor to teach an undergraduate Introduction to Geographic Information Systems course in person at our main campus in downtown St. Augustine during Spring Semester 2025.


The course meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday for an hour and 45 minutes each day in our computer lab. We can schedule the course in the morning or evening, up to the instructors preference.




Qualifications:


A Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in a related field. In exceptional cases outstanding professional experience and demonstrated contributions to the teaching discipline may be presented in lieu of formal education.


Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required.


Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit good judgment in making decisions concurrent with college policy.


Ability to work cooperatively with all constituents.


Excellent written and oral communication skills and knowledge of course content.
