The Lifestyle Weight Management Program assists individuals with weight loss and weight management by teaching lifestyle improvements to manage health problems, prevent disease and/or prevent the reoccurrence of disease. This position will provide behavior education and health counseling to individuals in these programs.


The position will provide behavior education and health counseling to individuals that participate in Lifestyle Weight Management programs. Utilizes motivational interviewing skills, assessments and behavioral change tools to engage, educate, and support participant's ability to improve health status or minimize the impact of disease; evaluates and designs evidence-based health educational resources and connects participants to OSU and community providers.




MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Nutrition, Exercise Physiology or Health Education required. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
