What you'll do:
Responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of new or existing equipment, machinery, components, or applications
Provides quality-control inspections to ensure proper mechanical processes
Records test data and ensure that mechanical failures are properly documented
May prepare technical drawing using CAD equipment or other software systems in the design or modification of mechanical applications
Performs preventative maintenance schedules, diagnosing and fixing faults in equipment and machinery as assigned
Maintains engines and gear components, conveyor or packing equipment as well as robotic machinery as directed
Designs, develops, tests, and modifies related electric components, equipment, products, and services, applying electrical theory and related knowledge
Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
Perform other tasks assigned by management
What you have:
Certification/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from accredited school which would include an Associate Degree or its equivalency
Lift Truck Certification preferred
Successful completion of all required on the job training
Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
May be required to use department specific database systems such as: CAD, Microsoft Suite
Demonstrated proficiency in the repair or operation of mechanical equipment
Technical certification preferred, in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
One or more years recent experience in repairing, maintaining, and installing mechanical machinery, systems, or application
In-depth knowledge of applicable building electrical, plumbing, HVAC system, boilers, generators, etc. and proficient using all applicable tools and equipment.
