Job Summary

The Programming & Partnerships team is looking for a highly motivated, strategic thinker to lead in the management and growth of programmer relationships. This individual will be responsible for utilizing data driven insights to drive business goals and manage requirements for content partnerships for internal and external stakeholders. They will manage a team of partner growth leads and work closely with our content acquisition, marketing and product teams to ensure consistent communication and facilitate the successful integration of content across all Comcast platforms. This individual should be an entertainment enthusiast and a team player with proven ability to manage multiple projects and partners and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

Job Description


  • Cultivate and lead network and programmer partnerships to drive business goals and manage requirements

  • Responsible for the successful activation and fulfillment of partnership goals and objectives, including ensuring all contractual obligations are achieved

  • Develop and leverage cross-functional relationships across Editorial, Marketing, Operations, Content Acquisition, and additional teams. Requires pro-active communication and coordination across teams to ensure alignment and collaborative working relationships

  • Identify and lead new revenue and business opportunities, balancing the commercialization of revenue generating campaigns with a commitment to a premium customer experience

  • Oversee end-to-end planning of business reviews and content initiatives including development and presentation to executive leadership teams

  • Utilize data driven insights and partnership skills to develop differentiated content opportunities to drive growth, profitability, and product adoption.

  • Align with product and marketing organizations to leverage partnerships and content to deliver on business goals

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Ability to work nights, weekends and variable schedule as needed for project/stunt support.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or a related field

  • Extensive experience in content strategy, partnerships, and business development, preferably within the media or entertainment industry

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and managing large-scale partnerships required

  • Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful contract management and revenue generation

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain credible relationships with high-profile partners

  • Ability to handle a high volume of projects simultaneously, keeping pace in a quickly moving department

  • Diligent and resourceful critical thinker who maintains a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Excellent written and communication skills; extraordinary attention to detail, keen organizational and analytical skills; proactive self-starter who shows initiative

  • Team player; can-do attitude; willing to jump in and out of multiple assignments as needed
