RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Director & PM Finance Transformation in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of technology-enabled financial accounting transformation, including project intake, stakeholder management, and alignment of financial management, analytics, and reporting


• Lead multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity to meet organizational needs, including transforming and configuring business processes to enhance workers' (user) experience


• Support pre - and post - launch activities, including roadmap planning, monitoring & implementing feature releases, training and change management


• Supervise a team of 4-5 direct reports, focusing on integrations, feature enhancements, optimization of business processes, reporting and analytics


• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure that reports, dashboards, and other analytics tools are being used effectively to support decision-making across the Company


• Be an agile learner; Able to enhance personal, professional, and business growth through acquiring new knowledge and experiences; Applies experiences to generate solutions to organizational challenges

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field with at least 10 years of relevant work experience


• Workday Finance expertise or knowledge and hands on experience with financial Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms


• Knowledge operating in a Product Delivery Model and management methodologies, and experience managing information technology resources


• Experience in leading project engagements, staff development, internal financial controls, business process analysis, and financial business systems


• A strong understanding of higher education business processes, project management approaches, and all phases of the project lifecycle


• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to Executive Leadership


• Business partnering and ability to build senior level relationships and act as a trusted advisor to implement scalable Workday products and solutions for finance leadership


• Initiative-taking, inquisitive, and analytical; Makes recommendations using acquired data and cumulative experience


• Ability to establish and maintain respectful and collaborative working relationships with staff, faculty, students, and stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
