Administer the electronic timesheet process, including verification, reconciliation, and compliance with FLSA classifications and state-specific labor laws.
Reconcile federal, state, and local tax amounts withheld and payments for each payroll cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
Execute payroll payments following documented control processes, performing audits before completion.
Collaborate with international office management on payroll preparation and multi-currency ledger postings, and prepare taxable benefits for payroll inclusion.
Develop training materials, participate in training sessions, and resolve complex payroll-related problems for internal customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MUST have CPP or Professional Certification in Payroll.
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required
Minimum of six (6) years of experience processing payroll in a complex business environment with multiple payroll schedules and multistate taxation.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet frequent deadlines with high accuracy and urgency.
Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, maintaining confidentiality.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, and ability to track, organize, analyze, and report financial data clearly.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word, ability to use cloud-based HR/Payroll suites, report writers, execute queries, prepare journal entries, and reconcile payroll to ledger data.
