Job Description

Summary:

IT End User Services (EUS) Engineer will spearhead the transformation of our endpoint strategy. This role will focus on improving the overall user experience, addressing current operational gaps, and developing new processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overhaul of the company's endpoint (laptop/desktop) strategy, including hardware and software optimization.
- Identify and address current gaps in endpoint management, implementing solutions to improve performance, security, and reliability.
- Develop and implement processes to streamline the procurement, deployment, and management of endpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the onboarding process by ensuring smooth, efficient setup and provisioning of user devices.
- Improve endpoint user experience through proactive management, monitoring, and automation of regular tasks.
- Create and maintain documentation for new processes and workflows related to endpoint management.
- Analyze and introduce tools and technologies to enhance endpoint lifecycle management, including software updates, patching, and asset tracking.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and support for escalated endpoint issues.
- Monitor and report on key metrics related to endpoint performance and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure endpoint compliance with security standards and policies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in end-user computing and endpoint management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in endpoint management and IT service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, JAMF, etc.) and endpoint security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead strategic initiatives.
