Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • LPN/RN Nurse Manager supervises and direct the daily nursing operations

  • LPN/RN Nurse Manager collaborate with Campus colleagues to mentor, educate and develop the nursing staff; conduct occasional off-shift visits (evenings, nights, weekends) to promote this goal

  • striving to maintain average daily census goals

  • monitoring hours worked within budget, working with scheduler to minimize overtime

  • LPN/RN Nurse Manager will be working to minimize turnover by building rapport and setting expectations with staff—nurses and STNAs

  • making time to interview potential STNA and nursing candidates and getting to know new hires and their strengths and weaknesses

  • LPN/RN Nurse Manager will attend care conferences for residents

  • monitor and manage wounds, weight loss, infection control, falls and other triggering QMs as assigned by the DON

  • assess and implement QAPI processes

  • collaborate with the management team to achieve the mission of the Campus of quality care and customer satisfaction

  • engage staff/residents/families to enhance satisfaction and resolve conflict

  • Engage medical staff in a proactive manner

  • demonstrate leadership attributes, i.e. role modeling, constructively and clearly re-educating staff and conveying teamwork principles

  • participate in management on-call rotation


  • Must possess a current, active license to practice as in Ohio.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Minimum two years recent nurse management experience
