About the Job:

This is a technical job limited to technical organizations. The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric software solutions and meet business objectives. Requires familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, service-oriented architecture, and product analytics.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Define and prioritize the technical product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers.
  • Guide product development by defining and communicating detailed software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure technical product viability, desirability, and alignment with business goals by establishing success criteria and monitoring product performance.
  • Work closely with Architecture and Engineering on technical design and to identify and manage critical dependencies.
  • Support trade-off discussions, negotiations, and alignment on feature prioritization, technical solutions, and timing with stakeholders.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in sprint planning and support feature refinement, addressing questions and providing guidance as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and acknowledged authority within the organization for assigned product(s) or product line(s).
  • This career step is assigned moderately complex products or product lines.
  • Experience working on a single technical product or product line.
  • Writes user stories and sets the product direction at the team level OR writes features and sets the direction for a group of teams.


Job Contribution:

Intermediate level technical professional. Subject matter technical knowledge within a discipline and sound understanding of ATT technologies.

Education:

Preferred technical Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Experience working with highly technical software products.

Experience:
  • Typically requires 3-5 years experience
  • Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role
  • Very strong proactive communication and collaboration
  • Experience working in an environment where coordination with business and development teams is essential to success
  • Ability to prioritize individual/group work in a high-stress, deadline driven environment
  • Expert working with CMS-driven digital ecommerce solutions
  • Strong experience Online or mobile-centric environment setting is a plus
  • Intermediate HTML skills
  • JavaScript & CSS scripting experience
  • Experience in publishing content files to tiered environments
  • 3-5 years experience implementing content using a Content Management System (i.e; ATG, Interwoven Teamsite, Adobe CQ, Sanity.io)
  • Experience testing online content in various browsers
  • Experience with workflow processes
  • Experience working with daily deadlines
  • Experience leading implementation for major releases following a Software


Development Life Cycle
  • Defect management experience
  • Experience training groups and individuals
  • Experience mentoring individuals
  • Ability to complete administrative responsibilities (i.e.; time reporting, training) on time.
  • Working knowledge of data schemas, cmsfeed structure, CSS, JavaScript, XML, HTML
  • Familiarity with APIs, JSON, React.JS, and other web technologies/coding languages and how they interact with CMS.
