RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 3 Project Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. There is a possibility for this contract to extend past 12 months. The preference is for local candidates, but the manager would be flexible with location for the right candidate. Candidates should expect to be in the office 2-3 days per week.

Summary:
Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager. The large delivery team operates in a scaled program/agile methodology so having experience working with cross functional agile scrum teams is a must. The PM needs to be highly engaged in the work to drive teams to milestones, and effective at resolving issues requiring collaboration of many stakeholders. They need to demonstrate strong communication within and outside of team to align dependencies. This individual will be able to keep technical teams on track and work to escalate issues as appropriate.




REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5 - 10 years of Project Management experience delivering large and/or complex projects

  • Experienced in managing full life-cycle projects, including schedule, budget, risk/issue management and status reporting to various levels of the organization

  • Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing IT solutions

  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget

  • Experience working with agile teams and understanding of the SAFe framework

  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization

In addition to the standard Project Manager requirements:

  • Candidates should have experience in a strategic, high-level program management role, preferably with experience in retail and supply chain

  • Should be able to effectively manage a portfolio of projects and drive collaboration across teams; They won't have direct reports

  • Ability to collaborate and partner with a business-side program manager to drive a complex, cross-enterprise program

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to hold teams accountable and drive resolution

  • Willingness to be a "doer" and not just a manager, as this is a hands-on role

  • Preference for candidates with experience in large-scale, enterprise level programs

  • Exhibits the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset

  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others

  • High level of analytical ability

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • PMP certification a plus

  • Business Analysis skills a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
