As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the coordination, installation, support, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. Your focus will be on supporting our Data Center transitions into a new operating model. You will provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot network and system applications, and ensure the integration, consolidation, and maintenance of network services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. You will also coordinate, design, implement, and validate network solutions in accordance with our latest architectural standards and best practices. Internet designs and migrations must be executed during approved change windows (non-business hours).
Responsibilities:
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering.
Review and analyze network engineering challenges, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Contribute to the resolution of network engineering issues and collaborate with client personnel.
Ensure compliance with function, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environments.
3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs.
3+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching platforms, specifically Cisco Nexus and/or Arista.
Desired Qualifications:
CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and/or 3+ years of Networking experience.
Proficiency in creating and updating technical design documentation.
Experience in a Product/Agile environment using Atlassian Jira.
Familiarity with Change control processes (ServiceNow).
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio Professional.
Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
Preferred experience with scripting languages (YAML, Python, Ansible, GitHub).
Ability to make quick decisions in a high-volume hosting environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to coordinate, document, and drive flawless execution.
