As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the coordination, installation, support, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. Your focus will be on supporting our Data Center transitions into a new operating model. You will provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot network and system applications, and integrate, consolidate, and maintain network services including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. You will also coordinate, design, implement, and validate network solutions in accordance with our latest architectural standards and best practices. Internet designs and migrations must be executed during business-approved change windows (non-business hours).
Responsibilities:
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering.
Contribute to large-scale planning related to Network Engineering deliverables.
Review and analyze moderately complex Network Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Resolve moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Network Engineering deliverables.
Collaborate with client personnel in Network Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environments.
3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs.
3+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, military experience, or education.
3+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching platforms such as Cisco Nexus and/or Arista.
Preferred Qualifications:
CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification preferred (Datacenter).
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or 3+ years of Networking Experience.
Demonstrated skill in creating and updating technical design documentation.
Experience working in a Product/Agile environment using Atlassian Jira products.
Familiarity with Change control processes (Service Now).
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio Professional.
Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
Scripting experience with YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB preferred.
Ability to make quick decisions in a high-volume hosting environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to coordinate, document, and drive flawless execution.
