A Day in the Life
In this role, you will be responsible for executing recruitment efforts for our US Cardiovascular Operating Units. You will support and fill requisitions while developing strong pipelines of qualified diverse candidates to meet position requirements from internal, external, and/or referral candidate pools. You will understand and implement diverse and functional Talent Acquisition strategies.

Location preference is Minneapolis, however, this position can work remote anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • You will partner with hiring managers to develop job specifications/requirements, competencies, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with candidates

  • Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral

  • Source candidates, manage workforce demands and develop networks to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using various tools such as social media, career fairs, agencies and recruiting contractors

  • Phone screen and conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees

  • Manage applicant tracking system and creates reports and metrics analysis

  • Work with other HR COE partners to ensure a successful hiring and on-boarding process

  • Provide excellent candidate care throughout the recruiting process

  • Identify areas of improvement and create solutions for increased efficiency in the recruitment process

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, or an advanced degree and 2+ years of experience

NICE TO HAVE:


  • Sales recruitment experience

  • Knowledge of employment related regulations such as EEO, AAP and OFCCP

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven learning agility and flexibility experiences

  • Experience with PCs and MS Office

  • Experience leveraging the latest digital technology (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ATS/Taleo/Eightfold)

  • HR/TA Certifications

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$86,400.00 - $129,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
