Job Summary | The APP Orthopedic Surgical First Assistant (APP) works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. The APP functions as a member of the orthopedic trauma team. This requires management of all aspects of patients from admission to discharge. The APP is integral in the operating room in collaboration with the attending surgeon. In some service lines the APP may perform the pre, intra op, post op and follow up care. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and ensuring an environment of safe quality care. |
