Analyst, General Ledger
Summary: We are seeking an Analyst in General Ledger to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by preparing journal entries, reconciling ledger accounts, and preparing reports.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Help analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls.
- Work under the guidance of senior staff to achieve financial objectives.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a general ledger or similar accounting role.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
- Experience using financial software.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial regulations.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant subject.
