Overview
The Systems Engineer III is responsible for assisting in designing and implement the Clients Enterprise System Infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues, and assisting the Shift Based System Engineers. They will also support in implementing the security teams requirements for Windows/Linux OS, VMware vSphere and other Clients Specific Systems.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installing and configuring Server Hardware
Collaborate with the Security Team to create and implement Operating System, VMware vSphere security measures.
Assist and Support the Shift Based System Engineers.
Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets related to the Clients Servers, Workstations, and other Clients Specific Systems.
Conduct regular reviews of documentation and processes ensuring all documentation is current.
Ensure the overall Health of the Servers, Workstations and other Clients Specific Systems using the Clients Tools.
Coordinate with the Clients IT department to develop processes and possible IT solutions to enhance the overall performance of the terminal.
Strong communication skills in the English language, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical personnel in high-stress situations. Previous client facing support/experience preferred.
Ability to work in a self-directed manner on multiple tasks or projects, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
High level of professionalism, particularly working with and assisting clients with technical questions and issues.
Ability to produce and maintain documentation of information security systems using a variety of tools (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, etc.)
Must meet all requirements to obtain a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
Required Experience:
8+ Years Experience in System Engineering Disciplines
Advanced knowledge of operating systems and Hypervisors including: Windows, Linux, vSphere
Experience with the Storage Area Networks in relation to VMWare vSphere.
Experience with the SolarWinds: SAM, VMAN
Experience with the following Tools: Splunk, VEEAM Backup and Replication, vCenter, PDQ, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, RedHat SmartManagement, Windows System Update Server.
Experience with the following scripting technologies: Microsoft PowerShell, PowerCLI
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
