Computershare has an exciting opportunity available for a permanent full-time Global Head of Infrastructure Operations to join our Computershare Technology Services team as part of our Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) group.
A role you will love
As the Global Head of Infrastructure Operations, you'll be accountable for the provision of Infrastructure and Data Centre services, ensuring the needs of our clients are met and we are performing to our agreed KPIs & Service Level Agreements.
You'll also have overall accountability for the successful operation of our Infrastructure services, maintenance and Data Centres globally as well as responsibility for the Services we provide through our vendors.
You will be responsible for embedding and setting the organizational framework and operating models to ensure success which includes maturing individual functions and driving greater levels of transparency around the performance and control of our Infrastructure Services, service risk and cost.
Other key responsibilities include:
Strong and effective leadership of a global operations team based across multiple sites including teams of technical resources and non-technical managers
Accountability for the availability, capacity and performance of Infrastructure across the regions adhering to cost & quality criteria
Governing the promotion of Infrastructure project deliveries and change to the live environment through Service Transition principles adhered to across the CTS team
Influencing and setting out the strategy of the function on a global level and then translate this strategy to the Operational teams, ensuring the team are working towards the objectives aligned to the overall Technology strategy
Implementing new concepts within Technology which could be Managed Services or other outsourcing partnerships
Engaging teams across the globe and drive alignment of process, resources and services to ultimately work towards a Global Operational framework
Working as part of the Technology Operations Leadership Team driving a culture of collaboration and processes alignment
Budgeting and cost control around Infrastructure expenditure (staff and service renewals)
Delivering a reputable operations framework ensuring global equality and 24/7 support in Infrastructure services
Supporting all controls for RCA and Problem Management across the E2E Service Design
Delivering effective business as usual production system monitoring and alerting on all core services including Infrastructure, Network, Data and Security components in the E2E Service Design, including by working with and leveraging the capabilities of other teams within the CTS organization
What will you bring to the role?
5+ years' experience leading technical teams
10+ years of industry experience
Significant experience managing teams that are dispersed geographically
Demonstrable experience in embedding organizational and cultural change within a complex Service Delivery and Operational environment
Ability to influence at peer level and above to drive change and alignment to process with all other areas of Technology Services, often at a global level
ITIL knowledge and experience working within ITIL aligned organizations
Experience with Managed Services agreements and operating with service providers
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to keep the team updated on strategic initiatives by means of written updates, stand up Town Halls and presentations
Knowledge of service governance processes and the ability to understand risk to services
Ability to coach and mentor Direct Reports and instill strategic objectives and direction
Experience with management of opex cost centres - both FTEs and supplier opex cost
Business Planning experience and the ability to forecast cost for budget cycles
Experience developing succession plans for large teams to ensure an ongoing personal development culture exists and that people are ready to take on new roles with minimal disruption to the operation
Experience managing global teams is desirable

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $145,000-$200,000 USD. This base pay range is specific to New York and New Jersey and may not be applicable to all locations. This range reflects our good faith effort to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
