Job Description:

The Sr. Financial Analyst for MGX reports to the Director of Finance and sits in the corporate office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is responsible for the generation and reporting of critical data on a timely basis, as well as entry into the company's consolidation software.  The scope of activity includes equipment sales and rental, parts sales and equipment service, and equipment upfitting.   Additionally, this role will have front line responsibilities for supporting the inventory management of the US Distribution business.  The role will regularly interface with financial and non-financial personnel.

The Responsibilities:


  • Lead for preparing all management reporting for monthly results including populating actuals, analyzing variances versus forecast, and explaining results to management team.

  • Lead forecast process for US Distribution business for complete P&L including but not limited to preparing templates, preparing forecast of depreciation and SG&A line items, and coordinating overall cycle with business.    

  • Lead for EPM reporting requirements for the US Distribution business including generating reports and loading actuals & forecast data.        

  • Lead for management reporting including actual results and forecasting for US Distribution business.              

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc analysis for finance leadership or VP/GMs of the US Distribution businesses.      

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in related role

  • Confident, diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business                           

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as contribute to team success

  • Emotional intelligence, mature, considerate of circumstance and audience

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Willing to learn and improve processes 

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to influence those without a direct reporting relationship 

  • Manage processes with diverse operational groups                                     

  • Travel Requirements – 5% or less
