The Role:

The Facilities Team is required to maintain our main production building and associated utilities equipment in support of a 24 hours per day manufacturing operation. This position requires a wide diversity of hands experience and skills to perform trouble shooting of failed or poorly operating equipment, conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks. The hours for this role are Friday-Sunday from 6 pm to 6:30 am). You will be paid 40 hours for a 36-hour work week!

In this role you will:

• Coordinate purchasing of maintenance supplies, tools and spare parts and manages inventory. Position requires employee to be able to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance.
• Comply with OSHA guidelines and EHS program safety and health rules.
• Provide repairs of production equipment and troubleshoots equipment to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Schedule work of maintenance.
• Perform preventatives maintenance and repair on equipment (production and facilities) as required and directed.
• Disassemble and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and programming failures.
• Maintain manuals of PM and replacement parts.
• Maintain files and records in an orderly manner for future reference.
• May be required to work irregular hours or return to plant after the shift in the event of unexpected mechanical breakdowns or projects.

Successful candidates will typically have the following skill set:

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Control and Automation Engineering requested.
• 3 + years' experience in Maintenance of facilities and mechanical.
• 3+ years' experience in hydraulic electrical, mechanical and PLC.
• 1+ years' experience in Injection Molding & its auxiliary equipment is requested.
• 1+ years' experience of hydraulic, electrical mechanical and PLC systems.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of plant equipment, operations, and processes.
• Knowledgeable with computer controls and systems including support equipment.
• Ability to read voltmeter.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with machine vendors.
• Able to diagnose and make correction for equipment faults and programming error effectively.
• Ability to fluently read/write/speak in the English language.
• The position also requires excessive standing, bending and climbing (ladders, lifts, machines etc.).
