Responsibilities

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall supply and inventory strategy along with managing the monthly S&OP process for Allied. Ensure that inventory levels are optimized to meet or exceed customer order fill rates to expected OTIFNE service levels. Responsible for managing overall Allied production planning and inventory replenishment while leading or participating in key strategic projects. This position will regularly interact with sales, marketing, operations, and other leaders across the company.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Own and improve the overall supply and inventory strategy
  • Manage key strategic initiatives related to business transformation
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, etc.
  • Implement and utilize key supply chain KPIs to lead continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained
  • Ownership and management or the S&OP process including development and participation in the S&OP Leadership meeting(s)
  • Utilize a collaborative approach to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for supply and inventory strategies
  • Suggest and drive solutions for process improvements and develop standard work instructions
  • Effective management of subordinates which includes coaching and mentoring
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Share knowledge cross functionally and participate in cross functional projects as needed
  • Primary operations contact for ADS International business partners

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis on Supply Chain Management. Or relevant work experience with 5 to 7 years’ experience in operations planning or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

  • 5-7 years’ Supply Chain experience preferably in Supply and Inventory planning, including capacity management
  • International experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • The employee will be typing, answering phone/video calls, and will work from a computer in a stationary position throughout the day.
  • Minimal travel
