Position Overview



We seek a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of Benefits, Americas. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and administration of our employee benefits programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of benefits initiatives that meet the needs of our diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of benefits administration, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing the overall employee experience. This role is in a global, dynamic, growing company where the Director should be energized by frequently pivoting in thinking strategically and executing tactically, not afraid to get into the details to solve business problems. This scope of responsibility will include the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Brazil. In this role, you will lead a team of 2 direct reports.



Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategies for employee benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, leave policies, and more

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative and competitive benefit offerings

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits

  • Oversee vendor management activities, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and service delivery

  • Analyze benefit utilization and cost data to identify trends and make recommendations for program enhancements

  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to review and manage benefit budgets

  • Provide expertise and guidance to employees and HR business partners on benefit-related matters

  • Develop and deliver communications and training programs to educate employees on their benefits options




Requirements



  • 7+ years of experience in benefits administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and best practices

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing benefits strategies that align with organizational goals

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

  • Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Professional certifications in benefits administration or human resources (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SPHR) preferred

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000.


This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
