As a Food Scientist, you will leverage your expertise in food application science to drive the development and optimization of our product line. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate consumer insights into actionable product innovations, ensuring that our offerings meet the highest standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize food formulations using application science principles, focusing on flavor, texture, and nutritional value.
Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to gather feedback and refine product formulations.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with consumer trends and regulatory requirements.
Conduct shelf-life and stability studies to assess product performance and safety under various conditions.
Implement process improvements and troubleshoot production challenges related to formulation and processing.
Stay current with advancements in food science, ingredient functionality, and industry best practices.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and reports for regulatory submissions and product specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in food product development, with a focus on application science.
Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to inform product decisions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
