How will you contribute to the team?


  • Provides technical expertise and advice in HSE-related requirements and issues to all levels of management in the Subsidiary/Group Company.

  • Provides the Subsidiary/Group Company project/program management staff with HSE technical support in their development of project-specific HSE plans, identification of HSE-related project budget and staffing resource requirements, and other project specific issues related to program/project HSE compliance and operational requirements.

  • Assists Subsidiary/Group Company managers with meeting requirements of the company HSE program, including assistance with defining and delivering HSE training, participation in medical monitoring processes, and management of HSE-related licenses, permits, and authorizations required to perform Subsidiary/Group Company business operations.

  • Directly oversees the Subsidiary/Group Company’s response to all Subsidiary/Group Company HSE incidents and assists Subsidiary/Group Company management with the performance of thorough incident investigation and follow-up activities in accordance with firm requirements.

  • Coordinates with the HSE Director to implement requirements of the firm's HSE Program within the Subsidiary/Group Company.

  • Coordinates with the HSE Director to obtain support and resources as necessary to ensure the Subsidiary/Group Company is able to meet the regulatory compliance and HSE risk management needs for its business activities.

  • Be available to respond to incidents during off-hours on a rotational basis.

  • Environmental Permitting Manager role will process all applicable permits as required for the project

  • Performs such assignments and duties as the Supervisor may deem necessary from time to time

What will you contribute?


  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline, plus minimum seven years of HSE-related technical experience or Associate’s degree plus minimum nine years of HSE-related experience.

  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification (within two years of assuming position). This requirement may be waived by the HSE Director

  • Three years of experience in an HSE management role preferred.  Environmental Permitting Manager role will require at least 3 years experience with applicable permitting.

  • Aggressive self-starter with strong organizational skills; excellent presentation skills and ability to train large groups; strong verbal and analytical skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management; ability to observe and perceive any work activity that could become a potential hazard or quality concern; ability to manipulate data in automated information systems such as MS Word, Excel and other computer programs and applications.

Expected compensation range is between $120k -$130k annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
