Responsibilities:
Assisting the field crew with all aspects of the daily crew workloadAssisting the office survey team with various land surveying tasks including AutoCAD Civil 3D survey drafting, project research, reducing field data, performing calculations, etc.Follow instructions and work orders from project managersEnsure that vehicles are supplied and kept in an orderly fashion, ready for duty, and care for equipmentOperate basic surveying hand tools and equipmentAbility to quickly learn the basic operation procedures of land survey and remote sensing equipmentAbility to safely traverse and navigate rugged terrainAbility to regularly work outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
Must be a student pursuing a degree in engineering or a Certificate in Survey Engineering TechnologySurveying experience is a plusGood communicator, energetic, and able to work in the office to obtain the full experience of working alongside our engineering staff.
