Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Handles accounting and data entry functions of the company as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:


  1. Maintain general ledger accounts relating to equipment sales.

  2. Maintain equipment inventory on general ledger.

  3. Responsible for all accounting of unit sales transactions and verifying accuracy.

  4. Ensure remittances for floor planned equipment are timely and accurate.

  5. Keep current with vendors programs and discounts used in settling equipment.

  6. Responsible for determining the most beneficial method to trade in equipment on settlements.

  7. Reconcile and settle various floor plan statements.

  8. Ensure proper documentation and storage of all whole-good transactions.

  9. Assist in related accounting projects.

  10. Process equipment transfers between stores and to other dealers.

  11. Entry of new equipment inventory purchases.

  12. Assist with updating and maintaining equipment inventory lists as needed.

  13. Record monthly and yearly inventory adjustments and assist in physical inventory counts at various locations as requested.

  14. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.

  15. Perform other duties as requested.

Education/Experience: Individual should have an Bachelors degree or its equivalent. Should be able to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision and be able to understand and carryout oral and written directions. Must have the ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest level of customer satisfaction.

The individual should have 2 4 years of related experience, steady work record, and must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.

  • Ability to get to and around the corporate office and store locations for various tasks.

  • The employee would normally lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lifts or moves up to 25 lbs.

  • Ability to tolerate up and down movement with bending or stooping including reaching above and below shoulder height with arms and hands.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to operate office equipment as necessary.

  • Must meet health assessment requirements.
