What You'll Do:
Financial Leadership: Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide insightful financial forecasting to guide strategic business decisions.
Month-End & Year-End Close: Ensure accurate and timely completion of the month-end and year-end financial close process, including preparation of financial statements.
Audit Management: Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and ensure the company maintains optimal liquidity.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
Financial Strategy: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team to support decision-making and long-term company goals.
Compliance & Controls: Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field: A strong educational background is essential.
CPA or CMA Certification: Highly preferred, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
5+ Years of Experience in a Controller or Senior Accounting Role: Proven experience leading financial operations, preferably in a medium to large company.
Mastery of Financial Systems: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
Strategic Mindset: You're not just a numbers person-you think big and can translate data into actionable strategies.
Strong Leadership Skills: Experience leading and developing accounting teams with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving Skills: You can identify issues, analyze them, and provide solutions with precision.
