Your Role:



As a Senior Equipment Technician in our Semiconductor Fabrication (Fab) department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With your extensive experience and technical expertise, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fabrication process, maximizing equipment performance, and mentoring junior technicians. Your contribution will be crucial in supporting efficient semiconductor production in a dynamic and high-tech manufacturing environment. The salary range for this role is $72k - $86k per year.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Lead equipment technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance and operation.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify complex equipment issues, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions.

  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for critical semiconductor fabrication equipment, ensuring adherence to schedules and compliance with standard operating procedures.

  • Conduct regular equipment performance evaluations, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and uptime.

  • Champion the implementation and optimization of equipment data collection and analysis tools, contributing to data-driven decision-making and predictive maintenance strategies.

  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers and external vendors to address equipment-related issues, coordinate repairs, and manage spare parts inventory.

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Lead equipment upgrade and modification projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to minimize production disruptions and maximize equipment performance.

  • Stay up to date with advancements in equipment technology, semiconductor fabrication processes, and industry best practices, providing recommendations for equipment upgrades and process enhancements.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, cleanroom procedures, and regulatory compliance throughout all equipment-related activities.




Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Associates Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or other Engineering discipline.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of work experience as an Equipment Technician in a semiconductor fabrication facility.

  • Experience with computer applications and software used for equipment monitoring, data analysis, and maintenance tracking.
