We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Control / Project Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for corporate reporting, financial forecasting, and cost control to ensure the financial success and accuracy of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Organization of Project Cost Tracking:
Bringing project budgets from estimate to cost tracking software using an understanding of job cost tracking principles
Maintenance of cost codes for projects as needed
Tracking Cost History including requests to projects, preparation of reports, analysis of data, and dissemination of information
Fielding access requests for job cost related systems
Track Project Results:
Support of cost tracking on projects, analysis of results at regular intervals
Weekly meetings with projects on progress and labor and material tracking
Organization of project forecasting three times per year, includes forecasting support to projects, document control, meeting scheduling, report assembly, and presentation preparation
Support related to project at financial close of the year including resolving open issues with projects, tracking of billing and collection, review of closing, preparation of reports
Organizing, maintaining and analyzing data to support executives
Develop and Train Project Staff on Controls Procedures:
Prepare and present training sessions at regular intervals
Procedure updates and development
Train new engineering hires on cost tracking software
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
5 Years of Construction Management experience required
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
Proficiency with cost management software preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
