Automation QA Engineer


•Duration: 12-month (Possible Contract to Hire)


•Location: Plano, TX (onsite 1/2X Week)

Looking for an Automation Engineer to lead develop an Automation Framework of testing. This person will play a key role in setting up the Automation Framework for new releases. The ideal candidate will have done this in Selenium before; but other Automation frameworks may be acceptable. We will need some hardware testing experience as well in the background of the right candidate. This companies products are camera's, DVR's, phones, etc. )


Responsibilities:


•Test Development: Craft detailed, comprehensive test plans and cases.


•Automation: Implement tests using automated tools to enhance efficiency.


•Defect Tracking: Document bugs and collaborate with developers for resolutions.


•Performance Testing: Execute system-level testing for reliability and scalability.


•Security Assurance: Assess and improve system security measures.


•Documentation: Maintain precise records of testing phases and defects.


•Process Improvement: Continually refine QA processes and methodologies.


Required Qualifications:


•Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.


•Experience: 7+ years in QA


• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP).


•Network configuration and troubleshooting for video streaming.


•Network security, VPNs, and firewall configurations.


•Experience with Hardware such as cameras, phones, TV's, Monitors
