YOUR ROLE


Are you known for your leadership and coordination skills? Are you passionate about sales? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to support senior and regional operations management in all aspects relating to freight services, operations and sales, including invoicing, accounts receivable, processing and special projects.



WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals within your defined geography / area of responsibility.
  • Prospect new business with sales team, seeking to meet the strategic growth ambitions defined by the company.
  • Meet the sales targets for the geography under your responsibility.
  • Present new opportunities and request the appropriate stakeholder collaboration to validate customer approach.
  • Monitor the development of technical proposals, seeking information and monitoring in order to ensure alignment between the client's request and the proposed solution.
  • Monitor the entire commercial process of new opportunities, visiting customers, following up on proposals, requesting and seeking information from customer amongst your sales team.
  • Develop and present commercial proposals to customers.
  • Update and manage the information registered in (CRM tool) in order to ensure an up-to-date database of clients and proposals issued.
  • Perform other activities inherent and related to the position.
  • Coach and develop your sales organization to scale overall effectiveness, utilizing tools and resources at your disposal.
  • Collaborate with Product stakeholders to increase alignment around value proposition / overall customer proposal

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and completion of the LDP Program. Minimum 5 years related experience. Minimum 3 years industry experience. Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific related software applications. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Characteristics: Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing and developing high performance teams. Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, presentation and negotiating skills. Demonstrated success in problem solving through use of data and information metrics and improvement to performance process.
