Summary:

Zapata Technology is seeking an experienced Test Engineer, for a remote role in Augusta, GA and/or Sierra Vista, AZ.

Job functions:

• Evaluate, recommend, and implement advanced automated testing tools and strategies to enhance system efficiency.
• Design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing and evaluation procedures to ensure compliance with system requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks for various application products.
• Draft, execute, and report on system test cases, ensuring accurate status updates and progress tracking.
• Analyze test cases, generate regular progress reports, and provide subject matter expertise in support of complex software/hardware applications.
• Lead or contribute to all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development, focusing on user requirements analysis, test design, and tool selection.

Skills and experience:

• Proficient in automated testing tools, including expertise with Selenium.
• Skilled in automating service and API testing processes.
• Proficient in programming languages such as .NET, Python, and R for test automation.

Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+ certification, demonstrating commitment to security and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills include:

• Specialized Agency Experience
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms
• Proficiency in application development using SQL or other such applications
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Cloud)
• Experience working with real-time data and streaming applications
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in basic commands and shell scripting
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Education/Experience includes:

• 4 years of Test experience

Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Clearance:

This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
