Essential Functions:

• Analyze project database requirements, including information needs, database relationships, attributes, data flow, storage needs, and reporting capabilities.
• Utilize database management system knowledge to coordinate updates and maintenance of databases.
• Test and implement new or updated database designs, writing both logical and physical descriptions of databases, including details on location, space, access methods, and security needs.
• Provide guidance to developers and analysts to implement changes to database management systems and address database-related queries.

Job Qualifications:

• Expertise in monitoring databases, organizing data, and applying new technologies and designs to enhance performance.
• Skilled in analyzing complex problems and delivering innovative solutions, including planning, tools, methodologies, and technology integration.
• Experience managing and coordinating production activities for client deliverables.
• Proficiency in writing query statements to support new applications or generate ad hoc reports.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software engineering practices, and product management.
• Experience in gathering client requirements and resolving workflow issues.
• Experience mentoring or supervising team members within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+ certification, demonstrating commitment to security and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills include:

• Knowledge of ETL tools and building data pipelines

Education/Experience includes:

• 4+ years of proven Database Administration experience

Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
