As a Tax Resolution Client Document Specialist at Jackson Hewitt, you will be an integral part of a national business that is helping clients resolve their tax issues with the IRS. This is a remote / work from home position.
What you'll do here:
Outreach via phone and email to clients to remind and assist them with uploading or mailing required documents
Serve as the point of contact for your clients, communicating important actions, status updates, and needed information with your clients
Regularly collaborate with tax preparers, licensed tax professionals, and other team members to facilitate timely communications with clients
Manage assigned clients and priorities, and work with other team members to resolve client issues or overcome obstacles preventing clients from providing their documentation
Serve as a back up to the billing coordinator
Skills you'll bring for success:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year office experience preferred
Professional, service-minded demeanor; ability to maintain confidence, friendly, and helpful tone in conversation
Attention to detail
Self-Starter and able to operate with minimal direction
Thrive in fast-paced environment
Skilled in computer applications, including Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Excellent problem-solving skills
Advanced organizational, written, and communication skills
Able to prioritize and manage heavy mail load
Self-motivated and able to adapt to change
Proficient and comfortable with computers and computer software
