Description: Our client is currently seeking a Plant Manager for their smaller Food Manufacturing facility near Waverly NY. This facility just benefited from some recent capital upgrades. The plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the facility while promoting continuous improvement through strong leadership. The Plant Manager will provide overall direction in the areas of Production, Planning, Quality & Food Safety Compliance along with managing the Site KPI's, Budget & EBITA as to drive increased plant performance.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Lead the facility in establishing and meeting continuous improvement objectives
Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
Promote all Safety, Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures while supporting their continuous improvement efforts.
Foster a well-trained and motivated team by encouraging and supporting the development of all plant employees
Provide operational and employee leadership to the facility
Assist executive management with budgeting, production statistics, cost analysis, justification of capital expenditures and asset management.
Responsible for implementing and reporting of plant KPI's
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred
5-7+ years' experience in Management role - Food / Beverage / CPG manufacturing preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills and abilities
Working knowledge of production equipment & processes
Foundational knowledge or background with Quality / Food Safety Systems
