We are currently seeking a electrical Engineer at our Mobile Mill. Electrical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate, design, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing and supporting processes.

Responsibilities:
 


  • Carries out all job responsibilities in a safe manner; develop and deliver equipment and processes that meet safety requirements, policies, and guidelines; provides for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.


  • Initiate, design, develop, and optimize asset changes and supporting processes to achieve platform objectives.


  • Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized as an implementer of engineering principles and/or scientific analysis in meeting platform objectives; partner with a more senior engineer to build technical and process expertise.


  • Maintain security and documentation to ensure the retrieval of data and protection of proprietary information.


  • Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems/opportunities to achieve platform objectives.


  • Provide electrical engineering support to resolve process and equipment problems.


  • Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have need to know; be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious; communicate in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive.


  • Assist in the development of others in the area of his/her expertise, while demonstrating an understanding of those with a diverse background or experience


  • Improve equipment capability to reduce defects and variability and achieve business objectives.


  • Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.


  • Effectively apply electrical engineering principles learned in school within a hands-on, high speed manufacturing environment

Required Qualifications


  • A Bachelor’s (or MS) in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering degree is required. 


  • Analytical skills to collect and assess data to support technical recommendations.



  • A demonstrated ability to lead self or small teams to achieve intended results.


  • Evidence of continuing self-development.


  • Ability to work within a team-based environment.


  • Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis. This location does not typically offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, or H-1 visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.


Preferred Requirements


  • Relevant industrial co-op/intern experience is highly desirable. 


  • December 2024 – May 2025 graduates and/or availability
