We are currently looking for a Materials Planner to ensure materials are available to meet customer needs while minimizing inventory and costs with an emphasis on driving continuous improvement.

Material Planning & Procurement: Direct vendor contact, analyze daily exception messages, purchase materials, and coordinate timely deliveries based on customer requirements and JIT philosophy. Recommend creative procurement programs, manage material flow, and track raw materials, usage trends, and excess/obsolete materials to meet business goals.
Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with Technical on alternative materials, maintain vendor performance tracking, issue special reports, prepare inventory reports, and ensure communication across all levels. Audit quality, safety, and environmental procedures while abiding by plant policies.

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience
