  • Analyze assigned customer accounts on a daily basis.
  • Contact customers for payment status and resolve payment issues.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve billing and contract disputes.
  • Review and clear unapplied cash by providing cash applications with payment detail and contacting the customer on unresolved items.
  • Review and clear credit memos by working with customers and internal departments.
  • Review the AR with internal revenue and marketing departments on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain all notes in the Collection Module
  • Complete special projects as needed.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or 4 to 6 years job-related experience.
  • Energy industry experience is preferred:

    • A minimum of 2-year experience in an Accounts Receivable position, or
    • 2-3 years of experience pertinent to the specific asset group type for which the position is being filled.
  • Experience with Oracle R12 or a major ERP system such as SAP, PeopleSoft, etc. is preferred.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced level Excel skills are required.
  • Ability to successfully and professionally communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization and external parties.
  • Self-starter who has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and responsive to team needs.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fluid environment.
