Role Overview: As a Senior Valve Design Engineer at Bray International, you will play a key role in the development of new products, providing leadership and technical expertise to ensure the success of our projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional project teams to execute new product development initiatives and enhance existing products. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing core technologies, designing and analyzing product designs, establishing project plans, and implementing tools and processes to improve departmental quality, reliability, and productivity.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development of new products, from concept to production, ensuring they meet functional, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.

  • Collaborate with project teams to execute new product development and product maintenance projects, driving on-time completion.

  • Research and develop core technologies to sustain or improve Bray's competitive lead in the market.

  • Evaluate technical risks throughout the development process and review engineering team work for correctness and accuracy.

  • Effectively communicate technical information to co-workers, customers, and suppliers in a neutral to positive manner.

  • Establish and maintain best engineering practices, serving as a mentor to other engineers within the company.


Qualifications:



  • Preferred experience in the valve/flow control industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, FEA simulations, CFD simulations, Microsoft Project, and Excel-related tools preferred.

  • 2-5 years of experience in valve or industrial design.
