Project Summary:


The fall co-op will help develop applications for AI digital assistants and document processing within IT.


Duties and Responsibilities:


* Review and research project background and status with mentor
* Develop/validate software using large language models and digital personas
* Interview business partners to identify persona needs
* Define back-end systems and user interfaces
* Summarize work and write SOPs
* Present project reviews before colleagues and peers


Qualification:


* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP's, safety rules, and software language manuals
* Hands-on experience with large language models and web systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and a modern language/interpreter such as Python
* Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage several projects at one time
* A first- or second-year Master's student enrolled in an accredited institution
* Minimum 3.0 GPA required
* Enrolled in Master's program in computer science, physics or mathematics
* Previous internship experience a plus
