About Our Internship Program



We are currently seeking motivated, self-driven Marketing students for the Summer 2025 Internship Program located at our Securitas Healthcare headquarters in Lincoln, NE. Selected students will participate in a meaningful and challenging 10-week summer internship that will allow each intern to have exposure to different facets of the Security Healthcare business and receive critical business skills and career and personal development training. Interns will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects within a cross functional team of professionals and get exposure to leaders within the business.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketing Interns will have the opportunity to work with either our digital marketing, brand marketing or global marketing teams. Possible responsibilities include:


Primary Responsibilities


  • Develop and refine communications across a breadth of markets that align with the business's short-term and long-term objectives and strategies.

  • Provide critical support for events

  • Further sales enablement

Product Marketing


  • Work to gather market intelligence, support sales efforts, provide financial reporting and facilitate new product launches and reoccurring promotions

  • Develop and implement systems to provide recurring financial & sales reports to support decisions related to the business's short & long term strategies

  • Construct customer and internal presentations to drive sales and support product development

  • Monitor competitive activity and retail positioning

  • Drive creation of Product Launch materials and sales collateral

  • Track and update website content to reflect latest product offering

  • Assist with field placement and research in the local market

Digital Marketing


  • Gather and analyze data, and develop fact-based recommendations on the voice of customer

  • Collaborate with teams to build and administer marketing programs

  • Ensure proper messaging is being executed online

  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed

  • Analyze market insights and provide summaries of key findings and trends to the team

Brand Marketing


  • Auditing and updating all image assets on websites and customer data feeds

  • Assisting to re-write marketing content for web audiences, search engine optimization and keywords

  • Work on product launches to deliver marketing materials to sales teams

  • Writing and content development for videos and press releases

  • Assist with development of marketing campaigns

  • Review, edit, and finalize POP materials and packaging with the product marketing team

Global Marketing


  • Support general marketing activities including trade shows, online advertising, campaigns, and email to develop brand awareness

  • Work with field sales team to conduct competitive analysis

  • Assist in the analysis utilized to conduct effective forecasting and demand changes

  • Assist with creating PowerPoints, pulling POS data, conducting research, and basic financial analysis as it relates to promotion effectiveness


Our Requirements:



  • A rising junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree

  • Proven Leadership in and out of the classroom

  • Fast learner and someone that takes the initiative

  • Results oriented

  • Strong Knowledge/Skills of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excel - intermediate to advanced skills required

  • Basic understanding/ability to navigate web-based programs

  • Effective Follow-up/Communication skills required

  • Strong Project Management/Organizational Skills
