Fall River Health Services is looking for Respiratory Therapist to work PRN. The practice of respiratory care encompasses activities in diagnostic evaluation, therapy and education of the patient, family and public. These activities are supported by education, research, and administration.

Responsibilities:
Ability to perform the following diagnostic activities, including but are not limited to:
Acquiring and evaluating clinical dataAssessing the cardiopulmonary status of patientsPerforming and assisting in the performance of prescribed diagnostic studies, such as obtaining blood gas samples and pulmonary function testingEvaluating date to assess the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory careEstablishing therapeutic goals for patients with cardiopulmonary diseaseParticipating in the development and modification of respiratory care plansPerforming case management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related diseasesInitiating prescribed respiratory care treatments/evaluations, evaluating and monitoring patient responses to such therapy, and modifying the prescribed therapy to achieve the desired therapeutic objectivesProviding patient and family educationPromoting cardiopulmonary wellness, disease prevention and disease managementParticipating in life support activities as required and promoting evidence-based medicine, research and clinical practice guidelines
The average Salary for this position is $25.00- $$31.00 an hour depending on years of experiences.
