Description: Our client is currently seeking a Operational Accounting Analyst!

Operational Accounting Analyst
What You Will Do:
- Compile and analyze inventory activity.
- Research and analyze consumption rates and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Collect and prepare operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Investigate labor variances and indirect labor usage.
- Assist in preparing monthly forecasts.
- Support Operations & Manufacturing projects.
- Participate in annual physical inventories.
- Contribute to operational planning and output analysis.
- Analyze sales and shipping data.
- Prepare detailed periodic and ad-hoc reports.
- Conduct overhead absorption analysis.
- Perform standard cost rollup analysis.
- Review slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Analyze intercompany material transfers.
- Assist in month-end close and prepare month-end reports.
- Monitor process changes and their impact on overall costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Access, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in consumption and inventory management.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
