Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client in Jessup, MD is looking to add a fulltime Corporate Controller to the team. This is a great opportunity to join manufacturing company that is currently in growth mode.

Responsibilities:

• Corporate Controller will manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition


• Prepare and analyze financial reports such as: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Loan Balance, WIP


• Oversee Accounts Payable/Payroll and Accounts Receivable/Assets performance


• Prepare and maintain quarterly reporting for bonding


• As a Corporate Controller, you will prepare month-end close and quarterly and year-end financial reports


• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings


• Lead and manage a team of 5+

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred


• 8-10 years similar experience in a leadership role


• Experience with accounting software


• Familiarity with GAAP

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
